There is a lot of discussion regarding the purchase of high-capacity mags for our favorite firearms and with all of the legislation it may be a bit confusing. We’ve found a resonable resource at http://www.handgunlaw.us/ and we’ve broken out the main items into the following list. The entire list can be found http://www.handgunlaw.us/documents/NoHiCapChemSpray.pdf.
- California – No more than 10 rounds (excludes .22 caliber rifle).
- Hawaii – No more than 10 rounds.
- New York City – No more than 10 rounds.
- Aurora Illinois – No more than 15 rounds.
- Chicago Illinois – No more than 12 rounds.
- Franklin Park – No more than 16 rounds.
- Oaks Park Illinois – No more than 10 rounds.
- Riverdale Illinois – No more than 35 rounds centerfire.
- Maryland – No more than 20 rounds (excludes .22 caliber rifle).
